Branding Project Outline - Bird Gardening

In the spirit of building my portfolio and showcasing my services and work; I thought I would start a new series on the blog dedicated to my branding projects and post creations.

So here is week one!

This week I had the pleasure of working on a small gardening businesses' branding. It was my first experience of drawing florals and greenery from scratch in Procreate. It was so much fun and I loved putting together this classic, chic and elegant logo.

My client wanted a clean, sophisticated colour scheme that showcased her favourite flowers (daisies and magnolias). I decided on this dark green shade with lighter greens in the magnolia illustration to add contrast and depth to the logo. I love how the daisy is growing out of the 'g' on the 'gardening' and I decided to integrate the magnolia's into the text as displayed below.

I also created a logo variation for use on the front face of the business cards my client ordered, pictured below.
